These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the Webstore Select membership program and are an agreement between you and Eastern Book Company and its affiliates ("EBC" or "We"). They outline the rights and responsibilities of both parties. By using the ebcwebstore.com website and subscribing to Webstore Select, you agree to these Terms as well as all other applicable terms, conditions, limitations, and policies of the ebcwebstore.com website. These Terms may be updated by EBC without prior notice. The website’s content is provided "as is" and "as available." EBC is not liable for errors or omissions on the website and reserves the right to modify its content without notice.

Trial Memberships

Occasionally, we may offer trial or promotional subscriptions to certain users. These are governed by these Terms unless specified otherwise in the offer. The duration and conditions of such trials or promotions may differ and are subject to EBC's discretion.

Membership Fees

The fees for Webstore Select memberships are detailed on the Webstore Select page of ebcwebstore.com. These fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms.

Delivery Benefits and Eligible Purchases

Delivery benefits under Webstore Select depend on product availability, delivery location, and order deadlines. Only certain products marked with the logo are eligible on ebcwebstore.com for these benefits. While express and standard delivery are available for eligible products, items unavailable for express delivery will be shipped with free standard delivery for Webstore Select members. Shipping fees may apply to items that are not eligible. Changes to orders, delivery addresses, or preferences may affect Webstore Select eligibility. Large or heavy items may only qualify for standard shipping.

Products with unique shipping characteristics may be excluded from Webstore Select benefits at our discretion. Items eligible for Webstore Select benefits are marked with the Webstore Select logo on their product pages.

International Shipping and Restrictions

Webstore Select benefits are not applicable to international orders.

Cash on Delivery:

Shipping fees may apply when using cash-on-delivery payment methods.

Eligible Items and Benefits:

Products eligible for Webstore Select will display the Webstore Select logo on their detail pages, signifying the following:

• Free standard delivery.
• Possible free express delivery for eligible postal codes.
• Early and exclusive access to deals for Webstore Select members.
• Fulfilment by EBC Webstore.
• Delivery tracking.
• Support for issues through EBC customer service.

Shipping Benefits

Webstore Select offers multiple shipping options, including expedited delivery for eligible items. Items not eligible for these benefits include:

• Products shipped to international destinations.
• Products to areas where express delivery/courier are not available, will be shipped by standard delivery. This can include services by the Indian postal department including registered post, registered parcel, speed post or other alternatives. The best possible mode will be as determined by EBC.

Other Restrictions

• Membership approval is at EBC’s discretion.
• You may receive emails or other communications related to Webstore Select, regardless of your email preferences.
• Membership and benefits are non-transferable unless stated otherwise in these Terms.
• Members cannot use Webstore Select benefits for resale, rental, or shipping items to third party customers or third party potential customers.
• We may add or remove benefits from the Webstore Select program at our sole discretion.

Membership Activation

Your Webstore Select membership becomes active upon successful receipt of payment by EBC, which can be made on the ebcwebstore.com website.

Membership Renewal and Cancellation

You may opt not to renew your membership at the end of its term. Cancellation is not permitted mid-term.

Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms, the ebcwebstore.com Terms and Conditions, or the Privacy Notice at our discretion and without notice. If any modification is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining Terms remain in effect. Your continued use of Webstore Select signifies acceptance of any changes.

Termination

We may terminate your membership at our discretion without notice. If terminated for reasons unrelated to misconduct, you will receive a prorated refund. Refunds for auto-renewed memberships are subject to these Terms. Termination due to violations of these Terms, fraud, or activities harmful to EBC will not qualify for a refund. Our failure to enforce compliance does not waive our rights.

Limitation of Liability

In addition to the limitations and exclusions outlined in the ‘Webstore Select Terms and Conditions’ of sale, neither Eastern Book Company (EBC) nor its directors, officers, employees, agents, or representatives will be liable for any damages arising from your use of Webstore Select. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Direct, Indirect, Special, Incidental, or Consequential Damages: Losses directly or indirectly related to your membership.
• Punitive or Other Damages: Damages intended to punish or arising from specific circumstances.

Our total liability, regardless of the legal basis (contract, warranty, tort—including negligence—or otherwise), will not exceed your most recent membership fee. These exclusions and limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law and remain effective even after the termination or cancellation of your membership.
