Copyright Act

Copyright law is one of the emerging areas in the field of IPRs jurisprudence. International law relating to copyrights, right from Berne Convention, 1886 till WPPT, 1996 tries to cover every aspect of Copyright. Significantly Indian Copyright Act, 1957 is amended to make Indian law in tune with International Law and various technological developments. The latest amendment of Indian Law was done by the Copyright (Amendment) Act, 2012.

This book gives the reader a simplified insight into the various technical and legal issues of International and Indian law relating to Copyright in an easily understandable form. Simplified examples and landmark judicial decisions, both Indian and foreign, are referred to, to explain the concepts to the students.
