Cyber Law, a comparatively new area of Jurisprudence, is both technical and legal in nature. Till as late as 2000, India's Cyberspace was unregulated in a way. But with the coming of the Information Technology Act, 2000, netizens have heaved a sigh of relief and a number of their concerns have been further addressed by the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008. Apart from this, various Rules have been notified and the Latest Rules are Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Indian Cyber Law has now become more comprehensive especially to cover issues relating to digital media. Keeping the latest developments in view, this book gives the reader a simplified insight into the various technical and legal issues of Cyber Law in an easily understandable form.
