The author has taken considerable pains in a critical examination of many original authorities and has taken care to cite them in support of almost every point studied in the book. In dealing with the complicated subject to inheritance the principles have been presented in systematic and classified form with numerous charts to explain them. How the two separate and two divergent systems of Hanafi and Shia Laws came up formed a subject not generally dealt with by any other books from the subject has been lucidly explained. The law relating to Marz-ul-Maut, which has its own effect of many aspects of Mohammedan Law has been dealt with in one chapter.
