About the Author:

Dr. Baij Nath currently holds the position of Director - Legal at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun. This book in the second one authored by him; the first being 'Quantum of Punishment in Service Laws' with an invaluable & befitting foreword by Dr. Justice Arijit Pasayat, former Justice - Supreme Court of India & also former Chairman - Competition Appellate Tribunal. His academic qualifications include B.Sc., LL.B, LL.M, Ph.D., PGDIRPM besides an Advance Management Program from IMI, New Delhi with an overseas component at France, Switzerland, Holland and Belgium. His professional experience of 49 years includes a tenure of 18 year in the Central Government & Banking sector and over 22 years at the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation where he held the position of 'Group General Manager - Head Employee Relation. Dr. Baij Nath has been associated with UPES since 2016.
